First light on the edge of the world.

Valley of Light captures the expansive grandeur of the San Luis Valley at dawn, where the Sangre de Cristo Mountains rise like a wall against the waking sky. The soft alpenglow on the snow-capped peaks contrasts with the cool blue mist filling the valley floor, creating a sense of infinite space and possibility for Large Living Rooms and Open-Plan Spaces.

From Lens to Code

The scale of the San Luis Valley is difficult to comprehend until you see it at sunrise. With Valley of Light, I wanted to capture that specific moment when the sun hits the 14,000-foot peaks while the valley floor is still asleep in the blue shadow. By guiding the algorithm to emphasize the horizontal sweep of the landscape and the delicate gradient of dawn light, I created a panoramic view that invites the viewer to breathe in the vastness of the American West.
