The silence of Antarctica has a physical presence, broken only by the cracking of shifting ice. With Cathedral of Ice, I aimed to recreate the sensation of encountering a tabular iceberg that seems more like a work of architecture than a geological formation. I created an image that honors the temporary yet timeless nature of these drifting giants by guiding the algorithm through the logic of symmetrical reflection and atmospheric diffusion.
