From Lens to Code
With Ancient Pillars, I sought to replicate the vertigo of standing at the foot of a living skyscraper—looking up into a canopy that disappears into the mist. I wanted to reconstruct the feeling of standing at the base of a 500-year-old Sitka spruce. By guiding the algorithm through the logic of vertical perspective and atmospheric fading, I have created an image that is not just a forest scene, but a testament to the endurance of the natural world.
