My transition to generative art is driven by the memory of the encounter. With Gilded Shadow, I wanted to reconstruct the specific challenge of forest floor photography—capturing the high-contrast gloss of wet skin against the matte decay of autumn leaves in low light. By guiding the algorithm through the logic of macro illumination, I have created an image that highlights the amphibian's toxic beauty without disturbing its secretive world.
